I first met Utibe in 2020 during my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year in Nihi Etche L.G.A. in Rivers State. It was one of those moments that initially felt ordinary but would later become extraordinary. We started as just friends, exchanging ideas and sharing stories, checking up on each other once in a while and our connection grew stronger with each passing day. As time passed, it became clear that this wasn’t just an ordinary friendship. We found ourselves eagerly looking forward to each other’s calls and messages, our conversations became the highlight of every day. That’s when we both realized our bond had deepened into something more. Utibe was the first to express what we were both feeling. He told me he had seen in me qualities he deeply admired kindness, strength, and a heart full of faith. When he asked me to be his, after I had the conviction, it felt like a prayer answered. I saw in him everything I had ever prayed and hoped for in a life partner his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering belief in us. Our journey so far hasn’t been without its challenges. But with understanding, love, and God as the foundation of our relationship, we’ve grown stronger through every trial. Together, we’ve nurtured our love, supported each other’s dreams, and built a partnership that feels unshakable. Today, as we stand on the threshold of forever, I look back at how far we’ve come with gratitude and joy. Meeting Utibe was the beginning of the most beautiful chapter of my life, and I can’t wait to continue this journey with him by my side.

How I Found My Forever: I’ve always prayed for a partner who would be a Godly mother to my children a true helper and someone who could motivate and support me. As I got older, especially in my twenties, I became even more intentional about asking God for someone special. Little did I know He had an amazing plan in store for me. Fast forward to my NYSC year, I was initially posted to Adamawa State, where I camped for the three-week orientation. I got redeployed to Rivers State, that was no coincidence. It was purely divine! When I got to my new PPA (Place of Primary Assignment), We were about nine in number, a remarkable family, I can't forget, and we instantly clicked as a family. We’d hang out together, go to our PPA and games together, go out as a group, and do everything as a team. But amidst all that, Gloria stood out. From a distance, I noticed her unique qualities her strength of character, her grace in speech, and her humble ways of life. Etc She carried herself with a quiet confidence that I couldn’t ignore And then, COVID-19 happened! Everything came to a halt, and we all went back to our different states. But Gloria and I kept in touch, just as friends at first. We talked for months, and with time, I got to know her even better. She was so real, so kind, and had such a strong faith. A couple of years down the line, we decided to take the leap and start dating. When we started dating, I couldn’t help but think back to our NYSC days. There was one thing about Gloria that stood out she was a praying woman. Ahh! At that point, I mentally went back to my checklist and quietly checked off one major requirement for my future wife. I thought to myself, “This might just be it.” And it was! Of course, our relationship had its ups and downs (like every relationship does), but we made it through, and God was with us every step, Fast forward, then came 2024 the year of big decisions! We decided to make things official. I met her family and did the traditional marriage rites. Today, Gloria is no longer just the amazing woman I admired from afar she’s now my covenanted partner and my forever love. Looking back, I can’t help but smile because everything about our journey feels like a divine setup. God knew exactly what I needed, and He gave me Gloria my answered prayer, and the love of my life.
